Clearly communicate scientific results in written and oral presentations to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.

Be familiar with current debates in their chosen field of geographic inquiry;
Be able to develop research questions from a critical reading of a body of literature;
Be able to design a field or laboratory based research project; and

At the completion of this course, students should have gained:
Familiarity with the kinds of data generated by vision science research programs;
A detailed understanding of selected contemporary issues in the vision sciences;
Skills in conducting research in the vision sciences;
Skills in designing rigorous experimental programs;
Skills in critical assessment of literature; and
The ability to present and interpret results of analyses.
English language requirements will be IELTS 6.5 overall with no band score less than 6.0.

Narrative therapy is a respectful, non-blaming approach to counselling and community work, which centres people as the experts in their own lives. It views problems as separate from people and assumes people have many skills, competencies, beliefs, values, commitments and abilities that will assist them to reduce the influence of problems in their lives.
Applicants are normally required to have completed at least a four-year honours degree at H2A standard from an Australian university, or a qualification or combination of qualifications considered by the RHD Committee to be equivalent.
Candidates are expected to meet regularly with their supervisor(s) and to present their work in the Faculty’s research seminar program. They are assisted to participate in relevant national or international conferences. A thesis is submitted in fulfillment of the degree.
For over 10 years the Wilin Centre for Indigenous Arts and Cultural Development has connected Indigenous visual, design and performing artists with pathways to their future in the arts.
From 2016 we will be offering a Master of Fine Arts in Indigenous Arts and Culture. This course offers the opportunity to undertake independent research and develop advanced skills in Indigenous Arts and Culture. A multidisciplinary course, students’ creative works can take the form of performances, writing, film, video and multimedia (cultural or otherwise). You will be supported by a supervisor and create a final thesis which can be a combination of Major Project and Dissertation.
The Master of Dance develops your potential for artistic leadership and enriches your professional practice in the field. The course places a distinctive focus on the integration of performance skills and choreographic practice, both live and screen based, facilitating a holistic physical sensibility underpinned by a commitment to artistic excellence, collaboration and interdisciplinary practice.
The Master of Design for Performance is a unique two-year program for designers and visual artists who wish to develop the skills necessary for a professional career in designing scenery, props and/or costumes for live performance.
