The Master of Veterinary Science (Clinical) provides research training in a selected field of veterinary science, based on the conduct of experiments or analysis of clinical cases, under appropriate supervision
The Master of Veterinary Studies provides advanced clinical skills in anaesthesia, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine and critical care, equine medicine, equine surgery, small animal medicine or small animal surgery. Practical clinical training is based on supervised management of clinical cases in the selected field, attendance and participation in clinical rounds, seminars, journal club and post-mortem presentations.

The Master of Youth Mental Health is designed for professionals working in health related fields and aims to enhance their capacity to deliver services that assist young people experiencing mental ill-health by providing the latest theory, research and evidence-based approaches in this area. The course covers a broad spectrum of subject matter, including major theories of youth development and mental ill-health, different forms of mental ill-health in young people, biological and psychosocial treatments, prevention and early intervention approaches, and tailored engagement and assessment strategies when working with young people. In the final year of the program, students have the opportunity to learn about optimal approaches for delivering and managing youth mental health services, and are required to complete either a minor research project or major capstone experience.
