We teach Economics, and the supporting analytical methods, from first principles, making our three-year degree equally suited to students with an A Level in Economics or beginners who have not studied it before. Our three-year BEng course will help you develop a sound foundation in all the aspects of Electronic and Electrical Engineering that are crucial to the design and manufacture of future systems in the medical, environmental, energy, transport, communications and ICT markets. You start your degree following core General Engineering and Engineering Mathematics subjects and then go on to specialise in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from year two onwards. Modules include Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Circuits and Power Systems, Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Engineering along with core modules in Engineering Management.

For those who are unclear about which direction or pathway they wish to follow we offer a General Engineering entry point to our common first year structure. At the end of your first year, you can choose to specialise in a particular field of Engineering and choose from second and third year modules including Engineering Analysis and Engineering Materials.
