【3月13日】伦敦大学城市学院3月23日星期一开始，将采用线上教学
以下内容是我校校长Professor Lynn Dobbs面对英国疫情，代表学校发给各位学生的邮件。里面提出了学校两个主要的准备工作通知。
为保护学生的安全；我校决定将课程形式改成网课，做到对抗疫情停课不停学。具体的消息也会发到各位的邮箱里，请各位学生实时关注学校的邮件和我们官微的消息。
我写信的目的是为了告诉大家我们为应对冠状病毒所做的准备工作。目前我们有两个主要工作。首先是确保我们所有员工和学生的安全。尽管现在英国的病例相对较少，但我们正在采取行动降低风险。第二，确保我们的学生继续接受教学、评估和完成学业。目前，虽然病例相对较少，但大学仍然开放，教学将照常进行直到3月20日星期五。为了确保每个人的安全，大楼将在3月20日当天下午5点关闭。从3月23日星期一开始，我们将采用线上教学的方式提供所有的教学和评估考试。我们正在为网课做出相应的安排。为此我们会尽快确认细节。现在最重要的是不要担心；学校和老师都会帮助和支持你们的学习，一切都会好的。我们的现在的首要任务是确保大家的安全和完成学业。我们也正在采取一切必要的措施确保学生的安全。

I am writing to update you about the preparations we are making in response to the Coronavirus. We have two main objectives. The first is to ensure that all of our staff and students remain safe, and although there are still relatively few cases in the UK, we are acting now to reduce risk. The second is to ensure that our students continue to receive teaching, assessment and any support they might need to complete their studies. At present, while cases remain relatively low, the University remains open and teaching will continue as normal until Friday 20th March. To ensure everyone stays safe, the building will close at 5 pm on that day and from Monday 23rd March we will deliver all teaching and assessment online. We are also putting arrangements in place to ensure that we can be flexible when it comes to assessments that are coming up that would have required your attendance on site. We will confirm details as soon as possible. The main thing is not to worry at this time; everything regarding your studies will be OK. Our priority is your wellbeing and success and we are taking all steps necessary to ensure that you are supported.
Please do continue to follow the advice of Public Health England and look after yourselves.
