1、 Do you like…?
I like… = I love… = I enjoy… = I’m fond of… = I’m a big fan of… = I’m keen on… = I find it great to…
I dislike… = I hate… = I can’t stand = I’m tired of… = I’m not too keen on = I’m not a big fan of… = I find it annoying to…
I really like… / I especially hate… / I quite enjoy… / I extremely dislike…
Do you like to play any sports?
Yes, definitely! I’m a big fan of basketball, without a doubt, and I watch basketball on TV on a weekly basis. In addition, I always invite my friends to play after school as often as possible. It’s not only fun and exciting but also a great chance for me to socialize.
2、 How often…?
“Every day”这个表述大家都熟悉吧,今天我们换一个“on a daily basis”
I speak English every day. = I practise speaking English on a daily basis. I frequently play basketball with my friends.譬如此类的替换还有很多,像sometimes = occasionally, seldom = hardly ever = barely = rarely等等。
How often do you play sports?
On a daily basis. After school, I frequently play football with my friends and I try to go running as often as possible. In addition, I occasionally play badminton with my classmates. From time to time, I do push-ups(俯卧撑) and stomach crunches(仰卧起坐) in order to get in good shape.
3. How important…? It’s extremely / definitely / not that important…,又如It’s essential / fundamental / vital because…
How important are friends to you?
I suppose friends play an extremely important part in my life. We frequently hang out to chat and have a good time. I really depend on them, especially when I don’t feel so cheerful. I think it’s essential to have friends you can trust and rely on.
